Inspiron 24-3455, no boot, #2
I have a similar problem with an Inspiron 24-3455, that won't boot into Windows 10 (version 1809 but won't update). It tries to load the Automatic Repair screen but nothing happens. Created a USB for booting and have tried running Repair from there but it can't fix the problem. Would like to just recover some important files and buy a new computer at this point.

@dlindow2 - Does the repair using USB stick give you any error messages?
Have you tried running the hardware diagnostics? Reboot and immediately press F12 and look for the option to run them including RAM and extended hard drive tests. Copy error messages, if any...

Hard Drive 0 - Short self test unsuccessful

@dlindow2 - That ePSA error code means you need to replace the hard drive.
Sure hope your files are backed up on external media
